Booking an Appointment

Once you have registered, you will be sent a message with a link to your personal portal. Once you have this you can book appointments through the portal.

If you feel your pet needs to be seen that day, please contact Vidivet at go.vidivet.com/tribe who can liaise with us, or send an email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. marked URGENT. We’ll do our best to respond swiftly, but may be travelling to - or seeing - other patients which may delay our response.

Please note, the times offered are guidelines for morning or afternoon appointments. Once you have booked we will be in contact to give you a one hour window for the visit, and follow this up with a message with a more accurate time when we are on our way. It helps us to know ahead of time if you have any parking or access restrictions at your property.

Getting in Touch

We consult for most of the day so cannot always answer our phone. Most of our information is on our website and the easiest way to book routine and non-urgent appointments is through your portal. If you have any non-urgent questions or need to get in touch, you can email us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

You have a vet on hand 24/7 go.vidivet.com/tribe to discuss any issues or concerns that you may have, completely free of charge. If you have a vet question please contact them in the first instance and they can advise you and will liaise with us.

What to Expect at the Visit

We like everyone to be relaxed and at ease for their appointment, so no need to use baskets but please do make sure that your pet is not hiding somewhere! We can examine your pet wherever they feel most comfy.

We may ask you to gently hold your pet so we can examine them or give them medication. For some procedures we might need to return with a nurse, or suggest it may be better for your pet to carry out the procedure at our bricks and mortar partner clinic.

If you have an anxious pet, please do let us know in advance as we can often prescribe some anti-anxiety tablets to give before the appointment to allow a more relaxed, calm experience.

Medicines
We carry many essential drugs with us so we can dispense most of your medicines at the time of your appointment if you would like. Alternatively we can provide a written prescription for you to source your medicine at an online pharmacy.
Health Plans

We offer a subscription health plan for dogs and cats called Tribe’s Pet Protect Club which protects your pet year round against preventative illnesses at a discounted rate, including delivery of parasite medication every 3 months right to your door. For more information or to sign up please click here.

Insurance

We deal with all insurance companies and are happy to process any claims you would like to make. We strongly recommend insurance as an important part of keeping your pet happy and healthy.

Emergencies

If your pet has a life threatening condition such as breathing difficulty, prolonged seizures, uncontrollable bleeding, severe trauma or collapse, please contact Eastcott Vets, Dorcan Way, Swindon SN3 3FR (you may need to use SN3 3RB for sat nav) on 01793 528341.

Due to the fact that we are a mobile practice we may not always be able to get to you as fast as necessary in an emergency situation, therefore we have partnered with Eastcott to provide cover whilst we are closed.

If you are unsure if your pet needs urgent attention please contact our 24/7 emergency vet go.vidivet.com/tribe and they can advise. This service is available to all Tribe clients, and there is no charge for you to speak to our online vets.
